Carry On Governing or the overthrow of democracy?

Let's be clear: this may seem like a bit of harmless admin, with hints of Carry On Governing about the queuing system, but it's actually pretty scary and incredibly undemocratic, excluding huge swathes of MPs on the basis of geography, ethnicity or health, disenfranchising the millions of Britons they represent in the process.

In pushing this voting requirement thru, Boris and Rees-Mogg have delivered what is effectively a bureaucratic coup, establishing government for and by the 'metropolitan' (read Tory) elite (which is, I'm sure, how they and their Etonian chums think it should be) designed to allow rubber stamping of policy without proper parliamentary consideration.
