New music: The Orielles - Disco Volador
One of my faves of the year so far, Disco Volador is the second outing from Halifax post-punk indie-poppers the Orielles.
It wasn't quite as well received as their debut in some quarters, but I think the added pysch and funk really moved things on.
Crazy orange vinyl and signed sleeve helped too. Think it will definitely be in my end-of-year best-of list.
